The Town of Wallburg contracts with Waste Management for weekly garbage and recycling services. Normal pickup days are on Tuesday or Wednesday. Your normal pickup day will be delayed by (1) day the week of Memorial Day and the week of Labor Day.
2026 Garbage and Recycling Schedule
If you are a new resident to the Town, you must contact Town Hall at 336.331.3945 to set up your garbage and recycling service
Acceptable recycling Items include:
Flattened cardboard (no larger than 2′ x 2′ squares), Magazines, Office/Copy Paper, Brown Paper Bags, Newspaper, Paperboard (cereal boxes, etc), Paper dairy & juice containers rinsed out, Phone books, Plastic bottles (#1, 2, 5), Glass bottles & jars rinsed out, clean Aluminum cans, foil, & baking tins, Plastic bottles rinsed out, Tin or steel cans
Please do NOT include Styrofoam, plastic wrap, grocery plastic bags,
yard waste, or food waste in the recycling bin.
